Ceramic Coating in Vancouver, BC
Correction and coating in one price, applied at your home or ours. Industry-grade protection that survives Vancouver rain, salt air and tree sap — and a finish that looks better than the day you bought it.
The Gold Standard in Paint Protection for Vancouver Vehicles
A ceramic coating is a liquid nano-ceramic polymer applied by hand to your vehicle's paint. It chemically bonds to the factory clear coat and cures into a hard, transparent, hydrophobic layer that cannot be washed off or broken down by detergent. It is not a wax and it is not a sealant.
What that means day to day in Vancouver: rain beads and rolls off instead of sitting and depositing minerals. Tree sap sits on the coating rather than etching the clear coat underneath. Salt-laden air off the inlet meets a chemically resistant barrier instead of bare paint. Washing gets dramatically easier, and stays that way for years.
Every package below includes paint correction, because a coating locks in whatever condition the paint is already in. Coating over swirl marks makes them permanent and, under direct light, more visible — not less. Correcting first is not an upsell. It is the job.

What Ceramic Coating Does for Your Vehicle
A professional ceramic coating in Vancouver is one of the smartest long-term investments you can make for your vehicle.
Hydrophobic Water Repellency
Water beads and rolls off the surface instantly, taking dirt, road grime, and contaminants with it. Your car stays cleaner between washes — critical in Vancouver's rainy climate.
Chemical & Contaminant Resistance
The ceramic layer protects against acid rain, bird droppings, tree sap, industrial fallout, and road salt — all of which can permanently etch unprotected paint in as little as 24 hours.
UV Ray Protection
Vancouver's summer UV exposure causes paint to oxidize and fade over time. Ceramic coating acts as a sunscreen for your car, preserving colour depth and gloss for years.
Deep, Lasting Gloss
The glass-like finish of a ceramic coating amplifies your paint's depth and clarity far beyond what any wax can achieve — and it stays that way for years, not weeks.
Long-Term Cost Savings
Fewer car washes, no annual waxing, reduced paint correction needs, and preserved resale value. Ceramic coating pays for itself over time for drivers who care about their vehicle.
Easier Maintenance
Coated surfaces resist dirt adhesion, so weekly maintenance becomes a simple rinse rather than a full scrub. Your vehicle spends more time looking perfect.
Correction and Coating, One Price
Every package includes paint correction, decontamination and coating. The difference between them is how much correction your paint needs — not how much protection you are allowed to buy. We tell you which one after hearing about your paint's condition and, if you send them, a few photos.

Every coating we install is Gyeon. We publish the exact product on every package because you should be able to look up its specification and check that our durability claims match the manufacturer's own. Most shops will not tell you what is going on your car, and a house-brand coating carrying a ten-year promise is usually a warning sign rather than a bargain.

The Only Studio-Grade Coating You Do Not Have to Give Your Car Up For
Every other shop in Metro Vancouver charging studio prices for a ceramic coating keeps your vehicle for two to three days. You arrange a ride, you rearrange your week, and you hope it is ready when they said. We bring the studio to you instead — full correction and coating in your own garage or covered parkade, with our own power, lighting and equipment. Your car never leaves your address.
What we need from you
A covered, dust-free space — a garage or an underground parkade stall is ideal — and somewhere the vehicle can sit undisturbed for 24 hours while the coating cures. That is it. If you do not have covered space, we will host the vehicle at our Vancouver facility instead, at no extra cost.
How We Correct and Coat Your Paint
Every Pacific Luxe ceramic coating starts with an obsessive preparation process — because a coating is only as good as the surface underneath it.

Coating Application
Applied by hand, panel by panel, with controlled timing, levelling and inspection at every stage.
Cure & Walkthrough
The coating cures for 24 hours. We then walk you through the finish and hand over a written maintenance guide.
Why Vancouver Drivers Especially Need Ceramic Coating
Vancouver is one of the most beautiful cities in Canada — and one of the harshest on vehicle paint. Between the endless rain, ocean proximity, and forested roads, your car's paint is under near-constant attack. Ceramic coating is not a luxury for Vancouver drivers — it is one of the most practical protection investments you can make.
Rain & Acid Rain
Vancouver receives over 1,150mm of rainfall annually. Acid rain and contaminated moisture etch unprotected clear coat. Ceramic coating's hydrophobic barrier sheds water instantly, preventing mineral deposits and etching.
Ocean Air & Road Salt
Salt-laden coastal air and road treatment salt in winter months accelerate paint oxidation. A ceramic coating provides a chemically resistant barrier that salt and brine cannot penetrate.
Tree Sap & Bird Droppings
Vancouver's tree canopy means sap and bird waste are constant hazards. Both are acidic and can permanently etch paint within 24 hours. Ceramic coating provides critical resistance and makes cleanup effortless.
Summer UV Exposure
While mild, Vancouver summers still generate UV exposure that gradually fades and oxidizes unprotected paint. Ceramic coating contains UV inhibitors that significantly slow this process.
Your Coating Comes With a Maintenance Plan
A ceramic coating is not maintenance-free — it is maintenance-easy. Hand wash every two to four weeks with a pH-neutral shampoo, keep it out of automatic brush washes, and it will run the full length of its rating. Most coatings that fail early were not badly applied; they were badly washed.
Every coating client is offered our Mini Detail, a combined interior and exterior maintenance service starting at $160 for a sedan, designed to be booked every two to four weeks. It keeps the coating performing and means you never think about it again. No contract — book as often or as rarely as you like.
Ceramic Coating FAQ — Vancouver
How much does ceramic coating cost in Vancouver?
Our packages start at $849 for Protect, $1,395 for Restore and $1,995 for Perfect, priced by vehicle size and excluding GST. Every price includes paint correction — most shops quote that separately, so compare carefully. Final pricing depends on your paint's condition, which we confirm in writing based on a quick phone call or photos you send us — no in-person visit needed just to get a price.
Is paint correction included?
Yes, in every package. It is the reason the packages are tiered the way they are. A coating locks in whatever condition your paint is in, so applying one over swirl marks makes them permanent and more visible under direct light. Correcting first is not an optional extra — it is what makes the coating worth having.
Can you apply a ceramic coating at my home?
Yes, and it is what makes us different. Every other studio-grade installer in Metro Vancouver keeps your car for two to three days. We bring the equipment, lighting and power to you and work in your garage or covered parkade. We need a covered, dust-free space and somewhere the vehicle can sit for 24 hours while the coating cures. No covered space? We will host it at our Vancouver facility at no extra cost.
How long does a ceramic coating last?
Protect is rated for 3 years, Restore for 5, and Perfect for 5 or more. Those numbers assume the vehicle is hand washed properly and kept out of automatic brush washes. We include a written maintenance guide with every package to help you keep the coating performing across its full rating.
Is ceramic coating worth it in Vancouver's rainy climate?
The rain is one of the strongest arguments for it. Water beads and rolls off instantly, taking dirt with it, so the car stays cleaner between washes. More importantly, the coating stops the mineral deposits and acid etching that Vancouver's constant wet accelerates on unprotected paint. In a dry climate a coating is mostly cosmetic. Here it is genuinely protective.
How long does the process take?
Protect takes one day. Restore takes two. Perfect takes two to three, depending on how much correction the paint needs. The vehicle then needs to stay dry and undisturbed for 24 hours while the coating cures, which on a mobile job usually means keeping it garaged for a night.
What is the difference between ceramic and graphene coating?
Graphene-infused coatings generally give slightly stronger water beading and better resistance to water spotting, which is a real advantage in a wet climate. Well-formulated ceramic coatings match them closely on durability and gloss, and the marketing around graphene is louder than the difference. We carry both and will talk you through the trade-off honestly. We do not charge a premium for graphene by default.
How many layers of coating do you apply?
More than one, and it varies by product and package — but layer count is a much weaker signal of quality than most people assume. A well-prepped single layer of a good coating will outlast three rushed layers over uncorrected paint. That is exactly why we tier our packages by how much correction your paint needs rather than by how many coats we can stack on top of it. Perfect carries the heaviest build. If you want to know precisely what is going on your car, ask — we will tell you the product and the process.
What ceramic coating do you use?
Gyeon, across every package. Protect uses Q² Mohs EVO, a 9H-rated coating carrying a three-year manufacturer rating. Restore and Perfect use Q² Syncro EVO, Gyeon's two-component professional system — a Mohs EVO base under a Skin EVO top coat — which carries their longest durability rating. Glass, trim and wheels get Gyeon's dedicated coatings for those surfaces rather than paint coating applied where it does not belong. We will always tell you exactly what is going on your car before we start.
What maintenance does a coated car need?
Hand wash every two to four weeks with a pH-neutral shampoo, and avoid automatic brush washes entirely. That is genuinely it. We include a written maintenance guide with every coating, and offer our Mini Detail — a quick interior and exterior maintenance wash starting at $160 for a sedan — if you would rather we handled it.
Do you coat wheels, glass and trim?
Exterior glass is included in every package. Restore adds plastic trim. Perfect adds wheel faces and exhaust tips. Full wheel coating with the wheels removed to reach the barrels is available as a $250 add-on. Coated wheels are noticeably easier to clean, which matters here given how much brake dust and winter road brine Vancouver vehicles collect.
