Privacy Policy

Pacific Luxe Auto Detailing is operated by 1564500 B.C. LTD, 306-1611 E 3rd Ave, Vancouver, BC V5N 1H1. This policy explains what personal information we collect through www.pacificluxeauto.ca and how we use it, in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

• Booking details: your name, email, phone number, service address, vehicle details, the services you choose, your appointment time and any notes you add.
• Enquiries: what you send us through the contact form or the ceramic coating quote form, including any vehicle photos you upload.
• Website usage: pages visited, the device and browser used, approximate location from your IP address, and how you arrived at our site, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see below).

• To schedule, perform and follow up on your detailing appointment.
• To send booking confirmations, reminders, receipts and invoices.
• To reply to your questions and quote requests.
• To understand how our website is used and improve it.
• To measure and improve our advertising, as described below.

Card payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. When you book, Stripe verifies and saves your card so we can charge it once your service is complete. Stripe's handling of your information is covered by the Stripe Privacy Policy.

We use the following tools to understand our website traffic and measure our ads:

• Google Analytics collects information about how visitors use our site. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
• Meta Pixel and Conversions API tell Meta (Facebook and Instagram) when someone who saw our ads visits our site, submits an enquiry or makes a booking. This lets us measure how our ads perform and show them to relevant people. When you book or send an enquiry, we share your email address, phone number and name with Meta in hashed (scrambled) form, along with your IP address and browser details, so Meta can match the activity to its users. You can control how Meta uses this information in your Meta ad preferences.

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them to keep your booking in progress, and Google Analytics and Meta use them for the purposes above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, although a booking in progress may be lost.

Besides Stripe, Google and Meta, we rely on service providers to run this site: our hosting and database providers, and Resend, which delivers our emails. They process your information only to provide those services to us. Some of these providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws. We do not sell your personal information.

We keep booking and payment records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our tax and accounting obligations (generally six years under Canadian tax law). Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted when they are no longer needed.

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, or withdraw your consent and have it deleted where we are not required to keep it. Email us at info@pacificluxeauto.ca and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
